Mr. Stewart attended New York University Graduate School of Film - Tisch School of the Arts.  During his tenure at NYU Grad Film, Mr. Stewart wrote, produced and directed additional films concurrent with classes in Producing, Directing, Screenwriting, Editing and Cinematography.  Mr. Stewart supplemented his studies with professional film directing and screenwriting seminars and workshops including, but not limited to Robert McKee, the American Film Institute, Paul Gray, Guy Magar and Dov Simens.

Mr. Stewart is an ongoing student of the "perennial philosophy" which draws from several religions, philosophies, and mythologies.  He also studied the magnificent work and legacy of world-renowned mythologist, the late Joseph Campbell - who was a mentor and friend to George Lucas (Star Wars).  After all, it was Joseph Campbell who said, "If you're going to have a story, have a big story, or none at all."  As such, Mr. Stewart has written several screenplays for feature motion pictures.
